One of Litecraft's showier options... |
Like most wine geeks, I'm all for shouting my love of wine loud and proud, often in the form of amazing wine homewares like witty prints, gorgeous statement wine glasses and wacky wine racks.
Recently, I've been considering upping my wine fan game even more and investing in a stunning statement wine glass light fixture, and there's plenty of them about.
The first one I saw was this utterly lovely Tara wine glass light fitting from the newly-renamed Dunelm. I just love the smoke effect on the glasses - it really adds to the moody, atmospheric effect when the light is switched on (and you can use a dimmer switch for added sultriness). And it's only bloomin' £79.99! It's definitely one of the cheapest ones you can get and the overall look is pretty impressive for that price.
And how about this Litecraft wine glass wall light? If you haven't got the room (or the grandeur) for a big chandelier in the middle of the room, you can at least have a big statement on the wall instead. I really, really want this one (I'm already eyeing up my walls to think which one would suit it best).
And GOOD NEWS! It's currently in the sale at Debenhams for £72 instead of £89!! Well now we'll have to get one.
Sticking with Debenhams, but going to the other end of the scale, if you really want a 'bloody hell!' kind of wow-factor then I think I've found it - the Litecraft 3 tier wine glass chandelier. Yes, it's huge. Yes, it's about as far from subtle as you can get. But oh boy, do I want one to hang over my dining table.
Not that I'm trying to tempt you or anything, but this one is in the sale too at £160 down from £199...
While we're on the subject of giant wine chandeliers, how about this Vino wine glass chandelier from Drinkstuff? It's incredibly similar to the Litecraft one, it's just this one is only £154.99! And it has free delivery...
Lastly, but by no means least (seriously), Ebay has some really show-stopping options. The best I could find was this modern crystal wine glass pendant light which really wins at the glam factor. Not to everyone's taste, no, but by gosh I can think of a lot of people who would just adore it. It's £119.99 with free p&p.
Would you dare to adorn your home with a wine glass light fitting? Let me know which one you'd go for in the comments...
