Heavenly Hip Flasks: Harry Potter Polyjuice Potion Hip Flask!

I'm starting my week off feeling VERY. EXCITED. INDEED.

Anyone that knows me will tell you I'm a humongous Harry Potter fan. I read the first book in the school holidays between leaving primary school and starting secondary school - the absolute best time a child can discover Harry Potter - and genuinely expected my Hogwarts letter to arrive. I was planning what I'd call my owl and praying the Sorting Hat wouldn't make me a Hufflepuff.

If you can relate to this (or the fangirling below) I think you'll be excited about what I've found...

As a huge fan, I like to incorporate Harry Potter into my life in lots of little fun ways, on top of reading the books and watching the films, of course. Such as:

  • Watching the Potter Puppet Pals Mysterious Ticking Noise for the four millionth time
  • Deciding I'm going to name my dog Neville Longbottom
  • Convincing my friends to discover the joy that is A Very Potter Musical
  • Getting huge satisfaction from telling idiots to Avada Kedavra under my breath
  • Trying to figure out the recipe for Butterbeer.

... etc.

And when my lovely boyfriend took me to the Warner Bros Studio Tour for my birthday this year, it was basically one of the best days of my life. I nearly cried a bit (and bought a chocolate frog). We're going back again soon.

Until then, I have now discovered a NEW and EPIC way to fuel my Harry Potter happiness... The Polyjuice Potion Hip Flask!

It comes from an American Etsy store called Drinking Buddy (they make other Harry Potter designs too!) but don't worry - the shipping cost to the UK is only around £7. HOORAY!

The flask itself is pretty good value too - at just £12.07 for the 6oz flask (£13.50 for the 8oz), that's not half bad considering the prettiness of the engraving and the lovely detail.

As well as just being gorgeously geeky, you could even pretend you were doing the 'Barty Crouch pretending to the Mad-Eye Moody' thing. You know, if you wanted.

Anyway, I'm in love. I'm buying one for myself immediately, but I can think of about 100 friends that would love one too, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. It's okay - you can share this post with your Potter-mad friends using the buttons below!
