Nuvo: The World's First Sparkling Pink Liqueur

It's not often I get the girly giggles about a liqueur, but Nuvo is probably the girliest drink in the world and I love it.

Made in France, it's the world's first sparkling liqueur, but the sleek, sexy bottle and "L'esprit de Paris" tag-line makes it look more like a couture perfume.

I wouldn't waste any of this on my skin, though - even if it does smell delicious - it's part vodka, part sparkling wine, part passion fruit nectar, and entirely divine. The taste is delicate without being wimpy, kitsch without being gimmicky, and refreshingly spritzy.

I thoroughly enjoyed a glass of this as a pre-dinner tipple, but at 15% abv it's only as strong as a full-bodied glass of wine, and I'm afraid it will disappear all too quickly.

You can pick up a bottle at Alexander & James for £30.10. I have a feeling this is going to become a regular gift from me to me to indulge in at the end of a long, hard day.

What do you think? Tell us in the comments, and don't forget to check out the rest of our Alexander & James wishlist too!
